At Striving Artists, our expert team will take care of you and all of your framing and printing needs. Since 1978, we have brought the same sensibility to our craft: we want all individual and commercial clients to joyfully display art and memorabilia in unique custom frames or shadow boxes!
Our process has you, our client, in mind. We developed a fair and competitive pricing structure for custom framing to provide you with an exceptional value. We offer a range of materials and finishes. We have also created our own design, build, and mounting techniques to meet any challenge. We cater to projects of all shapes and sizes. Nothing is too small or too big and we can literally “Frame Anything That Can’t Walk Away!”

I am proud to have founded several businesses along with having the usual family care responsibilities one traditionally expects of a woman.
I am a journalist and an editor by education and have been in the art, publishing, and music industry for nearly 40 years. I use my knowledge to help my customers in their creative, marketing and publishing needs.
Striving Artists is my pride, joy, and challenge. My passion is to work with customers and see their satisfaction and happiness when they receive the framed product they had in mind.

Boris Smorodinsky, CEO and General Manager
During my college years I’ve received MS and PhD in Engineering, which allowed me to pursue a variety of careers, including design of electronic devices, owning a graphic design and printing company, and running an art gallery.
In 2006, I and my wife Marina acquired Striving Artists and expanded the business from dedicated framing to a full service fine art reproduction, printing, and custom framing establishment.
I have a life-long passion for the visual arts and especially for photography. I have been involved in digital imaging since 1990, and I have deep knowledge and skills in color management, offset printing, and fine art reproduction and publishing.
In 2006, I and my wife Marina acquired Striving Artists and expanded the business from dedicated framing to a full service fine art reproduction, printing, and custom framing establishment.
